POPIA & privacy notice
How AccelBridge Financial Group collects, uses and protects personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Last updated 2 October 2026
1. Who we are
AccelBridge Financial Group ("AccelBridge", "we", "us"), of 2 Poplar Avenue, Craigavon, Fourways, South Africa, is the responsible party for the personal information described in this notice, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
2. Information we collect
We collect the personal information you choose to give us when you email us, phone us or request a consultation: typically your name, company, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry. The contact form on this website does not store or transmit your details itself; it prepares an email in your own email app, which you then send to us. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and deliver our services, to manage our relationship with you, and to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to that.
4. Sharing and cross-border transfers
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as email and hosting providers, with professional advisors, and where the law requires it. These parties may use it only for the purpose for which it was shared. If personal information is transferred outside South Africa, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a level of protection similar to that required by POPIA.
5. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as the law or our professional obligations require. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
6. Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to our processing of it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
7. Information Officer
Questions about this notice, or about how we handle personal information, can be sent to our Information Officer using the details on our contact page.
8. Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this notice.
